Most safari journeys in Uganda take place without incident, but good planning still matters. Travel with an established operator, use an experienced driver-guide, avoid unnecessary road travel after dark and keep valuables discreet in towns and transit areas.
Conditions can change. Before departure, read the current travel advice issued by your own government and discuss vaccinations, malaria prevention and personal health needs with a qualified travel-health professional.
Wildlife encounters have their own rules. Listen closely to rangers, keep the required distance, never leave a vehicle unless your guide confirms it is safe and tell your designer about mobility or medical needs before permits are secured.
A private journey also gives the studio room to adjust timings and routes when local conditions require it. Safety is not a paragraph added at the end; it is part of every transfer, guide choice and day plan.
